About Greyhound Bookkeeping

I’m Joel and I started Greyhound Bookkeeping to help small business owners tackle their bookkeeping challenges. I’m based in Atlanta, Georgia, but as a virtual bookkeeper, I can assist businesses all over the U.S.

I began my career as a staff accountant, gaining valuable experience in the accounting departments of both small businesses and large Fortune 500 companies. I later transitioned into the healthcare field, where I held roles like Respiratory Therapist, Operations Manager, Patient Educator, and Regional Manager. I’ve also served my community as Vice President and Treasurer for several local nonprofits. In 2014, I earned my MBA/MHA from Georgia State University, showing my dedication to continuous learning.

My career path has taken many turns, giving me a wide range of problem-solving skills and perspectives. I understand how tough it can be for small business owners to keep their books up-to-date while trying to grow their businesses. At Greyhound Bookkeeping, I want to lift that burden so clients can focus on their core goals while I handle their financial records, helping them better understand their inflows and outflows and grow their businesses successfully.

Joel is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, certified by Intuit to assist clients in leveraging QuickBooks software effectively.

As a Certified Advanced ProAdvisor, he provides comprehensive support with your Quickbooks accounting software. Joel also offers financial guidance, helps enhance business processes, and shares his extensive expertise to improve his clients’ business operations.
